The primary focus is on achieving a level of moistness that lasts longer than that of traditional Viennese chocolate cakes.
Theresia Hauer® Cakes - Original Lipizzan® Cakes - are GLUTEN-FREE. To ensure this enduring moistness, flour is completely omitted and replaced with ground almonds. Consequently, the very nature of their ingredients makes them superior in quality to conventional Viennese chocolate cakes.
To this day, the family-run business Leconte Chocolatiers® takes pride in having pioneered gluten-free chocolate cakes. The success of this recipe continues to this day in our international distribution.
Theresia Hauer owes the greatest success of her innovative chocolate cakes and nougat-marzipan pralines to her white chocolate glaze, which inspired the names Original Lipizzan® Cake and Original Lipizzan® Chocolate Ball.
